Hydreco Opens Modern Plant in Bangalore to Scale Manufacturing Reach
Members of the Daikin Group, including Hydreco Hydraulics, officially opened their brand-new, cutting-edge production plant in Bangalore. The occasion strengthened the company’s ties to the Indian market and reaffirmed its position as a world leader in motion control technologies, marking an important turning point in its global expansion strategy.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by customers, suppliers, institutional partners, and team members from across India and abroad, reflecting the significance of the event within the broader industrial and business community.
“India plays a pivotal role in Hydreco’s long-term vision. This new facility not only boosts our production capabilities, but also allows us to localize engineering, improve lead times, and serve our customers with greater agility,” said Katie McColl, CEO of Hydreco. “The new site confirms our confidence in the technical capabilities, energy, and strategic relevance of the Indian industrial ecosystem, which we view as a key driver of Hydreco’s future growth.”
The Bangalore Nelamangala plant spans a covered area of 2,500 sqm and is equipped with advanced machinery, expanded assembly lines, and modern logistics infrastructure. It is designed to support high-performance applications across sectors such as agriculture, construction, and industrial automation, underscoring Hydreco’s commitment to excellence and innovation.
Ananth Bangalore Suryanarayana, Managing Director of Hydreco India, added: “We are proud to open this plant in the heart of Karnataka. It reflects our ambition to grow with our customers, invest in local capabilities, and deliver engineered solutions tailored to India and the wider APAC region.”
The new Nelamangala plant also hosts 800 sqm of sustainable, modern office space and will serve as a regional hub for production, training, and engineering support—further embedding Hydreco within the global network of the Daikin Group and reinforcing its strategic presence in South Asia.
